Chocolate Mini Loaf Cake

Chocolate Mini Loaf Cake is simple chocolate cake baked in mini loaf tin.

Ingredients

  • Maida/All purpose flour ¼ cup
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Egg 2
  • Sugar ⅓ cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • Sieve Maida, cocoa powder, baking soda 2-3 times and keep it aside.
  • Crack eggs add sugar and beat it nicely till fluffy and bubbly.
  • Add oil and vanilla essence and beat it.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture and beat it till it is combined nicely.
  • Grease the mini loaf baking pan with butter and dust with flour.
  • Pour the prepared mixture to the pan and tap it 2-3 times to release air.
  • You can preheat the oven to 160°C for ten mins while you are preparing the batter.
  • Bake in same temperature for 20-25 minutes till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool them in wire rack and serve as tea time snack.

Notes

Baking time and temperature will vary from oven to oven. Look at the cake after 20 minutes. You can double the recipe and bake in cake tins too. Baking time will increase accordingly. you can add choco chips, nuts to the cake batter as per your wish.
