Corn flour halwa is simple and easy halwa made with corn flour, sugar, nuts and ghee.

Ingredients
Corn Flour ¼ cup
Sugar ½ cup + 2 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Chopped cashews 2 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Food color 2 pinch
Almonds 2 to garnish
Pista 3 to garnish
Instructions
Take corn flour in a bowl.
Add ½ cup water and mix it with lumps
Take sugar in non stick pan
Add ½ cup water to it
Allow it to boil till sugar is dissolved and it boils
Add the corn flour mixture in two batches
Now add the orange food color
Then add cardamom powder
Keep the flame to low and keep stirring continuously
Add ghee and keep stirring till it becomes glossy. You can add ghee 1 tsp at a time and stir.
Once it comes together add the chopped cashews.
Mix and switch off the flame
Transfer to greased plate or tray.
Level them with spoon
Add the sliced almonds and pista on the top and allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
Cut into desired sizes with knife

Notes
You can fry the cashews in ghee and use. I felt sugar was just correct. But you can use upto 1:3 ratio if you like it more sweet.I used non stick pan so it was easily coming together. You can use more or less ghee as per your preference. Make sure corn flour is mixed with water properly. It will settle down if you mix and keep for long time. So give a quick stir before adding to boiling sugar syrup.
