Egg Kothu Chapati Recipe | Kothu Chapati | Leftover Chapati recipe

Egg kothu chapati is delicious and quick snack or dinner recipe made with leftover chapati.

Ingredients

  • Chapati 3
  • Egg 2
  • Onion 1.big
  • Tomato 1 medium
  • Green chilli 1-2
  • Salna ¼ cup or as required
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt as required

Instructions

  • Heat oil and add finely chopped onions and green chillies
  • Saute it for 2 minutes and add ginger garlic paste
  • Saute them till raw smell goes
  • Then add tomatoes and saute them till mushy.
  • Now move the mixture to one side and crack the eggs.
  • Scramble them and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala
  • Then add the chopped chapati and mix.
  • Finally add the salna and saute in high flame for 4-5 minutes.
  • Garnish with finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  • Serve egg kothu chapati hot with curd or raita .

Notes

You can use any leftover curry if you don't have salna.
