Egg Pepper roast | Muttai Milagu masala | Egg pepper masala

Egg pepper roast is simple and delicious side dish with egg which can be prepared quickly.

Ingredients

  • Eggs 4
  • Onions 1 big
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Pepper powder 2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

To Temper

  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Mustard ½ tsp
  • Urad dal ¼ tsp
  • Cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves few

Instructions

  • Boil the egg for 15 minutes
  • Remove the shell and cut them into two halves
  • Heat oil and temper with mustard, urad dal, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  • Once it browns add the sliced onions till it browns.
  • Now add salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder.
  • Mix it nicely till everything is combined.
  • Add the halved eggs and saute for few mins till everything is blended together.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve Egg pepper roast hot.

Notes

Adjust the pepper powder as per your taste
Freshly grounded pepper powder adds more taste to the dish
You can add green chilli along with onions for more spiciness
