Ingredients
Wheat flour 1 cup
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Baking soda ½ tsp
Sugar ½ cup
Vinegar 1 tsp
Milk ¾ cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Choco chips ¼ cup + few for topping
Oil ¼ cup
Salt a pinch
Decoration
Glace Icing
Sprinkles as required
Instructions
Sieve wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together for 5-6 times and keep it aside.
Take ½ cup milk and add sugar to it. Mix it till sugar is dissolved completely.
Now add oil, vineger and vanilla essence.
Mix till it is nicely combined and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
Add the dry ingredients to wet mixture in batches and combine without forming lumps.
Now add the choco chips and mix with the batter.
Line the cup cake tray with liners
Scoop the batter till ¾th of the liner
Top it with choco chips
Pre heat the oven to 160°C for ten minutes.
Bake in the same temperature for 20-25 minutes.
Serve chocolate chip cup cakes plain or decorate it.
Decorating
Prepare Glace Icing as per the instructions.
Once the cake cools down, apply the glace icing on top of cup cakes.
Top it with sprinkles and allow it to dry.
Enjoy the chocolate chip cupcakes.
Notes
Sieving the flour is very important. Don't skip that step.Baking time can vary depending on different types of oven as well as size of cupcakes. So keep an eye after 15 minutes.You can use nuts instead of choco chips or make it plain
