Ferrero Rocher recipe | Homemade Ferrero Rocher | Hazelnut truffles

Ferrero Rocher is chocolate hazelnut truffles made with nutella and hazelnuts.

Ingredients

  • Nutella 1 cup
  • Ferroro rocher shells/wafers 30
  • Chocolate /Compound 200 grams
  • Hazelnut 100 grams

Instructions

  • Take hazelnuts in a pan.
  • Dry roast them in medium flame till it is nicely roasted and aromatic.
  • Keep the nutella in freezer previous day
  • Take ferrero rocher shells and keep it ready.
  • Crush half of the hazelnuts coarsely in blender and keep it ready.
  • Melt chocolate in microwave and mix the powdered hazelnuts.
  • Take a spoon of nutella and keep the roasted hazelnut in the center.
  • Close it to form the ball.
  • Keep this ball inside shells and close them.
  • Repeat the same process and prepare shells.
  • Finally dip the shells in chocolate hazelnuts mix.
  • Keep them in liner or parchment paper and allow it to cool down.
  • Keep in freezer for one hour to set quickly
  • Then wrap them in wrappers.
  • Yummy Ferrero Rocher Chocolates are ready

Notes

You can use crushed crackers instead of ferrero rocher shells
You can melt any chocolate for outer covering
Add more crushed nuts on the outer covering for more crunchier balls. I used the leftover after using in shells. You can mix cashews, almonds and pista too.
