Ingredients
Egg 1
Milk ⅓ cup
Salt a pinch
Vanilla essence ½ tsp
Cinnamon powder ½ tsp
Butter for toasting
Honey/Maple syrup/powdered sugar as a topping
Instructions
Take one egg in a bowl
Add milk to it and mix.
Then add a pinch of salt, cinnamon powder, and vanilla essence.
Whisk it nicely till combined.
Heat butter in a pan or dosa pan and slightly toast the bread.
Dip the toasted bread in the egg-milk mixture on both sides till nicely coated
Place the bread in a pan and cook on both sides till golden.
French Toast is ready. Sprinkle sugar, honey, or maple syrup on the top and serve with fruits.
Notes
Toast the bread to avoid becoming soggy when dipping in egg mixtureYou can add honey or sugar to the egg mixture itself. My elder one doesn't like it sweet so I skip it most of the time. Don't skip the cinnamon powder as it makes it more flavorful. Drizzle a lot of honey and serve it with fruits.
