Green Chutney recipe | How to make green chutney

Learn how to make green chutney for sandwich, chats and snacks. Green chutney is very flavorful due to addition of coriander and mint leaves.

Ingredients

  • Coriander ½ cup
  • Mint leaves ⅓ cup
  • Green chillies 2
  • Crushed ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 optional
  • Cumin ¾ tsp
  • Curd/lime juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients and keep it ready
  • Take coriander and mint leaves in blender
  • Add green chillies, garlic, cumin and crushed ginger to it.
  • Grind them to fine paste adding little water
  • Transfer to bowl
  • Add salt and curd to green chutney and mix
  • Green chutney is ready to serve

Notes

You can use lime juice instead of curd
You can increase or decrease coriander and mint leaves
Adjust the green chillies according to your taste
Adjust the consistency of the chutney by adding more or less water
