Ingredients
Milk powder 1.5 cups
Ghee 2 tsp
Milk ¼ cup + 2 tbsp
Instructions
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add milk to it
Allow it to boil and switch off
Take milk powder in a bowl.
Add milk ghee mixture to it and immediately mix it with laddle.
Mix it continuously to avoid forming lumps and knead to form a ball. Mixture will be sticky while kneading.
Store the instant khoya in refrigerator and use it as required in your recipe. You can grate or crumble them.
Instant khoya is ready.
Notes
You can add more milk while kneading if required. I want it soft so I added two tbsp milk while kneading. Used ¼ cup milk while boiling. You can use water instead of milk too. Store in airtight container in fridge and it keeps well for 1 week. I usually prepare it and use it in couple of days. Use good quality milk powder for best results
