Knol khol Poriyal | Kohlrabi Stir fry
Knol khol poriyal is simple south Indian style poriyal made with kohlrabi.

Ingredients
Kohlrabi 300 grams
Onion 1
Grated coconut 3-4 tbsp
Oil 2 tsp
Mustard ½ tsp
Urad dal ½ tsp
Red chilli 2-3
Salt as required
Curry leaves few
Instructions
Peel the skin, wash and chop the kohlrabi.
Heat oil and temper with mustard, urad dal, red chilli and curry leaves.
Once it splutters, add the finely chopped onions and saute for 1 minute.
Then add chopped kohlrabi and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Then add salt and sprinkle water.
Close and allow it to cook.
Once it is cooked and water is fully absorbed, open the lid and add grated coconut.
Mix together and knol khol poriyal is ready.
Serve it with rice or roti.
Notes
You can use green chilli for spiciness instead of red chilli
