Little millet upma is quick, healthy and delicious breakfast recipe made with millets and vegetables

Ingredients
Samai/Little Millet ½ cup
Onion 1 small
Tomato 1 small
Green chilli 2
Ginger ½ tsp finely chopped optional
Cabbage ¼ cup
Capsicum ¼ cup
Potato ½ cup
Oil 2 tsp
Ghee 1 tsp optional
Mustard ½ tsp
Urad dal ½ tsp
Chana dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves few
Coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions
Soak little millet for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a kadai and temper with mustard, urad dal, chana dal and curry leaves.
Then add finely chopped onions, ginger and slit green chilli and saute for 1 minute.
Then add tomatoes and saute till mushy.
Now add the vegetables, salt and saute nicely for 3-4 minutes till it is half cooked.
Then add water and allow it to boil
Once it boils add the drained millet and close the lid.
Allow it to cook in low flame for 10-15 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and add ghee on the top.
Serve Millet upma hot with sambar or chutney.
Notes
You can use any type of millet and make upma.You can pressure cook for 2-3 whistles instead of cooking in the pan. Add any vegetables of your choice or make it plain.
