Finely chop onions, garlic and tomatoes and keep it ready
Take onions and tomatoes given under to grind in mixie.
Grind onions and tomatoes smoothly and keep it ready.
Heat oil and temper with fenugreek seeds.
Once it browns add finely chopped onions and saute nicely.
Then add finely chopped garlic. You can add along with onions itself. I forgot so added later.
Then add tomatoes and saute till it is mushy.
Add onion tomato paste and mix nicely.
Now add all spice powders and saute
Then add tamarind extract and required water.
Allow it to boil for 20 minutes.
Then add the fish pieces and allow it to boil nicely for 10 minutes till the raw smell goes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
