Ingredients
Egg 1
Mustard ½ tsp
Pepper powder ½ -1 tsp
Sugar ¾ tsp
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Oil ¾ - 1 cup
Salt as required
Instructions
Take egg, mustard, pepper powder, sugar, salt and lemon juice in a jug or bowl.
Beat it with hand blender.
Beat nicley till it is combined and frothy.
Now add the oil in batches.
Beat till it become creamy
Adjust the salt, sugar and pepper powder according to your taste
Yummy homemade mayonnaise is ready.
Notes
Original recipe used 1 cup of oil. I reduced it to ¾ cup. Add little by little and beat till creamy You can powder the mustard and use them for smooth texture. It keeps well for one week to ten days in fridge. I have not tried keeping more than that.
