Boil water and sugar in a pan.
Once it melts add the cardamom powder.
Boil for 5-6 minutes till the sugar syrup is thick. Sugar syrup should be sticky.
Take milk powder, maida, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
Add ghee to it and mix it with finger tips.
Then add curd to it and mix.
Sprinkle little water to form smooth dough.
Grease your hands with ghee/oil and make small smooth round balls out of the dough.
Heat oil and drop the balls slowly.
Fry in medium flame flipping frequently so it is cooked evenly.
Drain in kitchen tissue and immediately add to sugar syrup.
Allow it to soak for 6 hours or overnight.
Delicious Milk Powder Gulab Jamun is ready.
