Mushroom Manchurian | Mushroom Manchurian dry

Ingredients

  • Mushroom 300 grams
  • Capsicum ½ cubed
  • Onion 1 medium cubed
  • Garlic 4-5 finely chopped
  • Green chillies 2 finely chopped
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce 3-4 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Pepper powder 2 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp

Marination

  • Rice flour 3 tbsp
  • Maida 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the mushrooms.
  • Cut them into half and keep it ready.
  • Take rice flour, maida, salt, pepper powder and red chilli powder.
  • Add little water and mix into thick paste
  • Add the mushrooms
  • Mix nicely till paste is combined with mushrooms.
  • Heat oil and fry the mushrooms till golden
  • Drain them in kitchen tissue
  • Finely chop the garlic and green chillies. Cube the onions and capsicum and keep it ready.
  • Heat oil and add the finely chopped garlic and green chillies.
  • Once it browns add the cubed onions and capsicum
  • Saute nicely and add soya sauce, tomato sauce, vineger, salt and pepper powder
  • Mix and saute for 1 minute and add fried mushrooms.
  • Mix nicely till everything is combined and garnish with spring onions.
  • Yummy Mushroom Manchurian is ready

Notes

You can shallow fry the mushrooms instead of deep frying.
Adjust the spices and sauces according to your taste.
