Clean wash and dry the mushrooms.
Take all the ingredients given under mushroom tikka in a bowl.
Mix everything to form thick paste.
Add the mushrooms
Marinate the mushrooms and keep it aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil and add the marinated mushrooms
Mushrooms will leaves water and slowly roast till golden.
Transfer them to plate and add oil and ghee in the same pan.
Temper with bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves
Then add finely chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and saute till golden.
Next add chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.
Then add curd and finely chopped mint leaves.
Mix and then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala and saute nicely.
Then add mushroom tikka and mix.
Next add water and allow it to boil
Once it boils add the washed rice.
Allow it cook in medium flame for 5 minutes till most of water is absorbed.
Then close the lid and cook for 10-15 minuts in low flame.
Open the lid and gently mix.
Mushroom tikka biryani is ready. Serve with raita of your choice.
