Nigella’s Everyday Brownies Recipe | Chocolate Brownie | Air Fryer Chocolate Brownies

Brownies are a rich chocolate treat that is liked by all age groups

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 100 grams or 1 cup - 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 145 grams or 10 tablespoons
  • Brown Sugar – 1 ¾ cup
  • Cocoa – ¾ cup or 80 grams
  • Baking Soda – 1 tsp
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Eggs – 4
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Milk Chocolate Pieces –1 cup

Instructions

  • Line two square tin with parchment paper and grease them with butter.
  • Take butter in a saucepan and allow it to melt.
  • Add sugar to it and allow it to heat till it melts and switch off the flame
  • Once it cools down a little, add cocoa powder to it.
  • Then add wheat flour to it.
  • Next, add baking soda followed by vanilla essence.
  • Then add eggs one by one and mix the batter.
  • Mix till everything is incorporated and the batter is smooth.
  • Now fold in the chopped milk chocolate and mix well.
  • Pour into the baking tin lined with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C and bake at the same temperature for 20-25 minutes
  • Remove from air fryer and cool the Brownie completely in a wire rack and slice them.
  • Enjoy with ice cream or chocolate sauce or powdered sugar drizzled on the top.

Notes

You can bake them on the stove using Kadai or a pressure cooker. place the plate at the bottom and place tin on top of it and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Baking in a stove takes more time than baking in an oven/air-fryer.
Add nuts of your choice or chocolate chip instead of chocolate chunks.
The original recipe used maida. I replaced it with wheat flour and it came out so good.
You can use 1 cup of maida for this recipe.
