Heat ½ tbsp oil in a pan
Add paneer cubes to it along with salt.
Slowly roast the paneer till golden and remove it from the flame.
In the same pan add the remaining oil and fennel seeds.
Once it browns add the sliced onions and saute for a few minutes.
Then add the ginger-garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes
Next, add tomatoes and saute for a minute.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala.
Mix nicely, add little water to the masala.
Close the lid and allow it to cook for 5-6 minutes.
Open the lid and mix the masala.
Add the shallow fried paneer pieces to it and give a quick mix for 1 minute.
Add finely chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Simple home-style paneer masala is ready.
