Boil water in a pan
Take rice flour and salt in a bowl.
Add boiled water little by little to flour and mix to form a dough.
Once it is warm to handle grease your hands with oil and knead to form smooth dough applying little oil.
Make small round balls from the dough and keep it ready.
Steam the balls for 10-15 minutes in a steamer or your idli pot
Heat oil and temper with mustard, red chilli, hing, and curry leaves.
Once it browns add finely chopped onions and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Then add the steamed balls and give a quick saute.
Then add the idli podi, ghee to it.
Toss it nicely till is coated
Spicy podi ammini kozhukattai is ready.
