Pottukadai ladoo is simple and easy ladoo made with roasted gram dal, sugar and ghee.

Ingredients
Roasted gram dal/pottukadalai 1 cup
Sugar ¾ cup
Ghee 3 tbsp
Cashews 8-10
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Instructions
Take roasted gram dal and sugar in mixer.
Grind to fine powder.
Transfer to big bowl and add cardamom powder to it.
Heat ghee in a pan and add cashews to it.
Fry them till golden and add to gram dal and sugar mixture.
Mix it nicely so it holds shape.
Shape them as small round balls. You can add more ghee if you are not able to shape them.
Maa Ladoo is ready.
Notes
If you want very fine ladoo, you can powder the roasted gram dal and sugar separately and sieve them.I used mix of both brown and white sugar and used total of ¾ cupIf you are using only white sugar can reduce 1-2 tbsp. It totally depends on your preference of sweetness. Use more ghee if you are not able to shape them. Adding nuts is optional. You can grind 2-3 pods of cardamom while grinding if you don't have cardamom powder.
