Radish Chutney is a quick and easy south Indian accomplishment for rice, idli, dosa, and chapati.

Ingredients
Radish ½ cup
Onion 1 small optional
Tomato 1 small
Oil 1 tsp
Chana dal 1 tbsp
Urad dal ½ tbsp
Red Chilli 4-5
To temper
Oil 1 tsp
Mustard ½ tsp
Urad dal ½ tsp
Curry leaves few
Instructions
Heat oil and add chana dal, urad dal, and red chilli
Once it browns, add the chopped onion and radish.
Saute nicely for 4-5 minutes till radish is crunchy and cooked.
Then add chopped tomato.
Saute for a minute and switch off the flame.
Once it cools down, take them in mixer.
Grind to a fine paste adding little water.
Transfer to a bowl.
Heat oil and add ingredients given under to temper.
Once it browns add it to the chutney.
Radish chutney is ready. Serve it with idli/dosa/rice
Notes
You can use tamarind instead of tomato. Saute nicely to remove the raw smell of radish. I use Byadagi chili which is less spicy. If you are using normal ones you can use 2-3You can also add 2-3 tbsp of grated coconut to the chutney
