Rice Pakoda Recipe | Leftover Rice Pakora | Leftover recipes

Rice pakoda is quick and easy snack recipe made with leftover rice.

Ingredients

  • Rice 1 ½ cup
  • Onions 1
  • Green chillies 1
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Besan flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped

Instructions

  • Finely chop the onions and green chillies
  • Take rice in a bowl
  • Mash them nicely.
  • Add onions and green chillies to it
  • Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, besan and corn flour
  • Add finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  • Mix everything together. If required add few drops of water.
  • Make small round balls out of it.
  • Heat oil and fry them till golden
  • Drain in kitchen tissue
  • Rice pakoda is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with coffee/Tea

Notes

Add vegetables of your choice to make it more healthy
You can use corn flour instead of rice flour. It give crispy texture to pakora.
