Rice Pakoda Recipe | Leftover Rice Pakora | Leftover recipes with step by step pictures and instructions. Rice pakoda is quick and easy snack recipe made with leftover rice. It has so crispy and crunchy outer layer and soft inner layer. Once of the best way to use the leftover rice without wasting. It is simple and quick snack which can be prepared in less than 20 minutes.
Rice is staple food in every south Indian household and we end with leftover rice most of the time. We can make tempered rice, fried rice, rice cutlets with leftover rice. Rice pakoda is the simplest among them and I make it plain. You can even add some vegetables and make it as vegetable rice pakoda. Besan flour and rice flour is used for binding. Lets see how to make this easy and quick rice pakora.

Rice pakoda is quick and easy snack recipe made with leftover rice.

Ingredients
- Rice 1 1/2 cup
- Onions 1
- Green chillies 1
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt as required
- Besan flour 2 tbsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped
- Coriander leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped
Instructions
- Finely chop the onions and green chillies
- Take rice in a bowl
- Mash them nicely.
- Add onions and green chillies to it
- Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, besan and corn flour
- Add finely chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Mix everything together. If required add few drops of water.
- Make small round balls out of it.
- Heat oil and fry them till golden
- Drain in kitchen tissue
- Rice pakoda is ready to serve.
- Serve hot with coffee/Tea
Notes
Add vegetables of your choice to make it more healthy
You can use corn flour instead of rice flour. It give crispy texture to pakora.

Finely chop the onions and green chillies. Take rice in a bowl
