Roasted Masala Cashews Recipe | Roasted kaju | Masala Cashew nuts in Air Fryer

Roasted masala cashews are a spicy, quick, and healthy snack made with cashews and spices

Ingredients

  • Cashews 2 cups
  • Ghee 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp

Instructions

  • Take cashews in a bowl
  • Add ghee, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder to it.
  • Mix it nicely till everything is coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer at 180°C for 3 minutes.
  • Place the cashews in the air fryer basket and air fry for 8 minutes shaking the tray in between once.
  • Cooldown and store in an airtight container.
  • Roasted masala cashews are ready.

Notes

You can add 1 tbsp of ghee and slowly roast cashews on the stovetop. You need to keep stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Preheat the oven for 180°C for 10 minutes and roast the cashews for 10-12 minutes. Flip them halfway through.
Adjust the air fryer and oven timings according to your settings and keep eye on it to avoid cashews getting burnt.
Always use good quality cashews for best taste.
You can adjust the spices according to your taste
I didn't use too many spices as I prepared for kids.
You can use some chaat masala, pepper powder, amchur powder, cumin powder for more flavor.
