Ingredients
Makhana/Lotus seeds 2 cups
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Red chilly powder ¼ tsp
Pepper powder ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Oil 1.5 tsp
Salt as required
Instructions
Heat butter and roast the makhana in low flame till crispy and crunchy and remove them.
In the same pan heat oil and add all the spice powders.
Give a quick mix till everything is combined.
Add the roasted makhana to it.
Give a quick till masalas are evenly coated.
Spicy roasted phool makhana is ready.
Notes
You can dry roast the makhana instead of roasting in butter. In order for the spices to coat evenly with makhana I added spices to oil and then tossed. Adjust the spices according to your preference.
