Wash and chop the vegetables
Add ½ tbsp ghee and roast the vermicelli till slightly golden.
Transfer to the plate.
Add oil in the same pan and temper with bay leaves, cloves and cinnamon.
Then add finely chopped onions and slit green chilli and saute for a minute
Next add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
Then add chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.
Add finely chopped mint and coriander leaves.
Then add curd to it and mix.
Next add the chopped vegetables and mix.
Then add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and pepper powder and saute for 1 minutes.
Then add ½ cup water close and allow to cook
Cook till vegetables is done and water is drained.
Then add 2 cups water to it and allow to boil.
Add the roasted semiya to it.
Cook for 3-4 minutes till most water is absorbed.
Close the lid and cook till all water is absorbed.
Open the lid, add lime juice and ½ tsp of ghee and gently mix.
Delicious semiya biryani is ready.
