Semiya Paal Ice | Semiya Milk Pops | Vermicelli popsicle

Semiya Paal Ice is delicious popsicle prepared using milk, semiya and sugar

Ingredients

  • Milk 2 cups or ½ litre
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Semiya 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder ½ tsp optional

Instructions

  • Dry roast vermicelli till it is golden. Keep stirring and don't burn them.
  • Add the milk and allow it boil
  • Boil the milk till vermicelli is cooked and soft.
  • Now add the sugar and mix.
  • Keep stirring till sugar is dissolved and mixture is creamy.
  • Now switch off the flame and add cardamom powder and mix.
  • Allow it to cool down and fill the popsicle moulds.
  • Freeze for 8 hours or overnight till it is set.
  • Run them through water and remove the popsicle.
  • Enjoy semiya paal ice

Notes

You can use normal steel tumbler if you don't have popcicle moulds. Cover them with foil and freeze them. Insert ice cream sticks and serve
Run the mould through tap water for few seconds to easily remove them
Add vanilla essence for flavoring instead of cardamom powder
