Upma Uttapam Recipe | Leftover Upma Uttapam

Upma uttapam is quick and easy breakfast or dinner recipe which can be prepared with leftover upma.

Ingredients

  • Upma 11/2 cup
  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • Wheat flour ¼ cup
  • Onion 1 big
  • Green chillies 1 big
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for drizzling.
  • Water 1 ½ cup + ½ cup for grinding

Instructions

  • Take upma in mixer.
  • Grind to smooth paste adding ½ cup water
  • Transfer to bowl and add rice flour and wheat flour
  • Add water and mix it to a smooth batter.
  • Then add onions, green chilli, salt and cumin.
  • Mix till everything is combined.
  • Heat dosa pan and spread the batter.
  • Drizzle oil and flip and cook till done
  • Serve it hot with sambar and chutney.

Notes

You can saute the onions and add them instead of adding raw.
