Veg Mayo Sandwich | Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe

Veg mayo sandwich is simple and quick recipe prepared using mayonnaise and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Bread slices 8
  • Onion 1 finely chopped
  • Capsicum 1 finely chopped
  • Cucumber ½ cup
  • Salt as required
  • Pepper as required
  • Mayonnaise ⅓ cup

Instructions

  • Finely chop onions, capsicum and cucumber
  • Take the vegetables in a bowl.
  • Add mayonnaise as required to coat them. I used ⅓ cup. You can add upto ½ cup
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and mix nicely.
  • Take bread slices
  • Apply the mayo mixture on the bread slices
  • Cover with remaining bread slices
  • Place them in toaster or you can toast them in stove top.
  • Toast till bread is browned
  • Veg mayo toast is ready.
  • Serve hot with cup of milk

Notes

You can add other vegetables like cabbage, carrot, beans
Adjust the mayonnaise, salt and pepper as per your choice.
You can use green chutney or butter on the bread slices on both side and then apply the filling.
Serve them hot otherwise it may become soggy. Also if you prepare the mayo mixture and keep for long time it will release moisture. So prepare as and when it is required
