Wash and pressure cook beetroot and potatoes adding salt for 3-4 whistles
Peel the skin and mash them.
Roast the peanuts for 2-3 minutes
Remove the skin and grind them coarsely.
Heat oil and temper with cumin.
Once it browns add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
Then add mashed beetroot and potatoes
Then add salt, red chilli powder, garam nasala, turmeric powder, cumin powder and pepper powder
Saute nicely for 4-5 minutes till raw smell of beetroot goes.
Then add the crushed peanuts and mix
Finally garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Once it cools down, shape them as cylindrical or round
Mix maida with water to neither too thick nor too thin consistency and keep it ready.
Take bread crumbs in a bowl
Take each chop and dip in maida batter.
Then roll them in breadcrumbs
Repeat the same for all veg chops.
Heat oil and deep fry vegetable chop.
Vegetable chop is ready. Serve it with ketchup or green chutney.
