Whenever we carve for something sweet we can make these mug cakes in 5 minutes. I made this for my lunch one day when I thought to eat something sweet. I used my leftover cream cheese frosting to decorate the cake after making red velvet cake. You can have it as such without frosting.
Mug cakes should be consumed hot. It may not be as soft as normal cakes if kept for long time after baking. 2 minute Microwave Red Velvet Mug Cake
Ingredients
- Wheat flour 3 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Milk 3 tbsp
- Vinegar ½ tsp
- Cocoa powder 2 tsp
- Baking soda a pinch
- Red color few drops
- Vanilla essence few drops
Topping
- Cream Cheese Frosting as required
Instructions
- Take a mug and add milk, sugar, oil and vinegar and mix nicely till sugar is dissolved.
- Then add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, vanilla essence and red color and mix nicely without any lumps.
- Microwave the cake for 1 ½ mins at 800°C
- Enjoy with cream cheese frosting or plain mug cake
