Desiccated Coconut recipe | How to make desiccated coconut in home with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make desiccated coconut in home. It is nothing but grated coconut without moisture content in it. It is easily available in many places nowadays. I always love to make ingredients required for my recipes myself as much as possible instead of getting outside.
We can use it for decorating and making cakes, cookies, sweets and all. It is very simple to make in home. We need to grate the white part of coconut and saute to remove moisture content from it. It keeps well outside for one week. If you refrigerate it will keep good for longer time. I made Chum Chum, Coconut Cookies and have little more left in fridge.
