Frittata recipe | Vegetable Frittata | How to make Italian Frittata with step by step pictures. Frittata is Italian version of omelette but baked in iron skillet. It is loaded with lot of vegetables, cheese and meat. I had lot of eggs in stock. When i was browsing some egg dishes i came to know about this where vegetables, meat and eggs are baked together. It may look like a fancy name but the dish is very simple and easy to cook. I didn't use much cheese or meat in this recipe. I used only vegetables and egg.
It came out so nice and my husband liked it a lot. So i will surely try some other variations of Frittata. we can use any vegetables, meat or anything of our choice for this.

Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- ¼ Cup Milk/cream
- 1 tsp Pepper
- Salt As required
- ½ Cup Potato
- ½ cup onion
- ½ Cup Capsicum
- ¼ tsp Red chilli powder
- 3 tsp oil
- Chilli flakes For seasoning
- Italian herbs For seasoning
- Cheese For seasoning optional
Instructions
- Take eggs and add milk.
- Season it with salt and pepper powder and mix nicely. Keep it aside
- Heat 2 tsp oil in pan and add the potatoes. Season with salt and red chilli powder
- Roast the potatoes in high flame till it is almost done and keep it aside
- In the same pan add 1 tsp oil and add onions and capsicum. Season it with salt and pepper
- Saute for 2 mins in high flame
- Take a oven safe pan and add potatoes.
- Then add the capsicum onion mixture
- Add the egg mixture on top of it to cover the pan
- Season it with chilli flakes, Italian seasoning and cheese(optional)
- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C for 10 mins and bake in same temperature for 15 to 18 minutes till the egg is cooked
- Vegetable Frittata is ready

Can add chicken or any meat also
