Tomato Kuzhambu | Tomato Curry | Thakkali kuzhambu recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Tomato kuzhambu is spicy and tangy curry made with tomatoes and it goes well with rice as well as roti/chapati. It is quick and easy to make with less ingredients. Everyone make tomato curry in different ways like grinding some spices, adding coconut etc. This version is very simple with tomatoes mixed with spices.

My mom always makes this simple curry when she is busy with other works. I like to add crushed garlic which adds nice flavor. You can skip them if you don't like the taste. Addition of garlic makes it taste like non veg gravies. It goes well with Idly, dosa, chapati or roti too.

This Tomato Kuzhambu is somewhat similar to what we make but ours is a drier version. However, I liked your version since it goes well with rice. True, sometimes we are in a rush and prefer quick recipes such as this one.
