Chicken Nuggets Recipe | Baked Chicken nuggets recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Chicken nuggets are boneless pieces of chicken chunks, spiced, coated with bread crumbs and baked or fried. I generally don't like the chicken nuggets we get outside as most of it will be plain and not spicy. These are mild spicy and chicken will have all flavors. It is perfect for kids and it will vanish in no time. I have soaked the chicken in buttermilk. It makes it so juicy and tender. It is optional and you can skip them if you don't have time.
This is mostly similar to my chicken popcorn and I made this for my daughter school party. Everyone enjoyed it and they told me it's so yummy. I marinated it overnight. You can marinate and fry immediately or bake. I liked the fried version more than baked version. It's been long time since I posted something. There are lot of post pending in my drafts. Been so busy after coming back to Chennai. Slowly settling down and will try to post regularly.

Chicken Nuggets Recipe | Baked Chicken nuggets
Ingredients
- Chicken 600 grams
- Butter milk 1 cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Egg 2
- Bread crumbs as required
Marination
- Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp
- Garlic powder 2 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Italian seasoning 1 tsp optional
- Pepper powder ½ tsp
Flour mix
- Flour ¾ cup
- Pepper powder ½ tsp
- Italian seasoning ½ tsp optional
- Salt a pinch
Instructions
- Wash and clean the boneless chicken and cut as small pieces
- Take 1 cup buttermilk and add salt. You can mix 2-3 tbsp of curd with 1 cup water to prepare buttermilk
- Soak the chicken in buttermilk for 3-4 hours. You can keep them in fridge if you are soaking for long time
- Drain the buttermilk and keep chicken ready.
- Add all the ingredients given under marination to chicken.
- Mix them well till it coats the chicken.
- Take flour and add pepper powder, Italian seasoning and salt.
- Mix nicely with flour and keep it ready
- Beat one egg and make it ready.
- Take bread crumbs in one bowl.
- Dip the chicken first in flour mix and then in egg.
- Finally coat the chicken in bread crumbs
- Repeat the same for all chicken pieces.
- You can fry immediately or refrigerate it for later use.
- Heat oil and deep fry them in medium flame till golden
- For baking preheat the oven to 200°C and bake in same temperature for 20 minutes flipping the pieces after ten minutes.
- Drain in kitchen tissue.
- Serve the baked or fried chicken nuggets with any dip or tomato sauce.

How to make Chicken Nuggets with step by step pictures
