Green peas masala Recipe | Matar Masala | Creamy green peas curry
Green peas masala Recipe | Matar Masala | Creamy green peas curry recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Green peas masala is a creamy and delicious side dish made with green peas. It goes well with roti, phulkas, naan, jeera rice or pulao. You can use fresh or frozen green peas.
I made this as a one-pot recipe in the pressure cooker. It gets ready in less than 30 minutes. You can serve it at parties. Green peas curry will be more creamy without the use of butter and cream. I made it almost similar to how I make Paneer butter masala. You can make green peas cutlet, hara bhara kebab, or green peas stir fry with green peas. Check out the interesting Gobi matar kheema from my friend Swaty.
Sending this to FoodieMondayBloghop theme #298NorthIndianCurries suggested by Swaty. She suggested making some dry or gravy-type North Indian subzi. She made my favorite jack fruit curry. My contribution to the theme is this green peas masala. You can also make Broccoli gravy, kadai vegetable, or Dal fry as a side dish to roti/naan.
