Learn how to make healthy and nutritious granola bar using oats, nuts and seeds. Granola is healthy breakfast or snacks prepared using oats, nuts, seeds sweetened with honey, brown sugar or jaggery. We can also use puffed rice, corn flakes and dried fruits. Granola is one of the best travel food carried during trekking, cycling and running. These granola bars are soft and chewy. We can make them crisp with little baking.
I want to try granola bar for long time in home and keep postponing. As soon as I signed up for after school snacks bites for Blogging Marathon I decided that I should use this opportunity to try granola. I referred many recipes from internet to get an idea. Most of them used honey and brown sugar. I don’t want to heat honey so used jaggery and later added honey while binding. We can adjust of proportion of oats, nuts and seeds as per our preference. I loved this and my little one also liked it a lot. Planning to try more different combinations soon. Sending this to Srivalli’s Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by Rafeeda themed on Snacks/Bites for Kids.
