Mushroom Soup Recipe | Kalan Soup | How to make Mushroom Soup Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make quick and easy mushroom soup. It requires only very few ingredients which is easily available in kitchen. I love the mushroom soup which we get in street side shops topped with lot of corn flakes. I actually have that soup only for corn flakes. Will ask for extra topping. This soup tasted very close to street style mushroom soup.

I chopped the mushrooms very finely and saute them in butter for added taste. I didn’t have corn flakes so skipped it this time. Adjust the consistency of the soup by adding more or less corn flour. Ingredients

  • Mushrooms 5-6
  • Onion 1 small
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oil/Butter 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp or as required
  • Water 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Wash, clean and dry the mushrooms. Finely chop the mushrooms and onions.
  2. Heat oil in pan and add the finely chopped onions and ginger garlic paste.
  3. Saute them nicely till brown and add the finely chopped mushrooms.
  4. Saute the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes and add 1 cup of water.
  5. Mix corn flour with little water. Add corn flour mixture to mushrooms.
  6. Soup will start to get thicken. Add salt and pepper powder and boil for 1 minute.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  8. Serve Mushroom soup hot topped with corn flakes.

Notes

Adjust the consistency according to your taste.

Skip ginger garlic paste and add finely chopped garlic.

How to make Mushroom Soup with step by step pictures

Wash, clean and dry the mushrooms. Finely chop the mushrooms and onions.
