    Banana Brownies Recipe | Whole wheat Banana Brownie | Chocolate Banana Brownies in Air Fryer recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Banana brownies are rich chocolate desserts with the goodness of bananas. These banana brownies are eggless and so easy to make. It is free of refined sugar and flour. 

    It gets ready in 15 minutes in the air fryer. Brownie with ice cream is a classic combo that I never get bored to eat. Whenever I make brownies, will make ice cream and vice versa. I love to use cooking chocolate for brownies rather than cocoa powder. You can make this healthy and guilt-free treat for kids.

    Banana Brownies Recipe | Whole wheat Banana Brownie | Chocolate Banana Brownie in Air Fryer

    Banana brownies are rich chocolate desserts with the goodness of bananas.

    Cook Time 15 minutes minutes
    Total Time 30 minutes minutes
    Servings 9 pieces

    Ingredients

    • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
    • Banana ⅓ cup mashed
    • Brown Sugar ½ cup
    • Oil ¼ cup
    • Milk/water ¼ cup
    • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
    • Chocolate 150 grams
    • Baking powder ¾ tsp
    • Salt a pinch
    • Choco chips ⅓ cup

    Instructions

    • Mash the bananas in a bowl
    • Add water, oil, sugar, and vanilla essence to it.
    • Mix it nicely till everything is combined.
    • Chop the chocolate and melt in a double boiler or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
    • Place water in a vessel and place another vessel on top of it and melt the chocolate.
    • Add the banana mixture to melted chocolate.
    • Mix till chocolate is combined with the banana mixture.
    • Add wheat flour, salt and baking powder to it
    • Mix them without lumps and add ¼ cup choco chips to it.
    • Fold the batter to mix the choco chips
    • Grease the baking tin with butter and dust with little flour.
    • Pour the batter to baking tray and tap to release air.
    • Sprinkle rest of choco chips on the top
    • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C and bake in the same temperature for 15-18 minutes
    • Remove from air fryer and cool the Brownie completely in wire rack and slice them.
    • Enjoy with ice cream or chocolate sauce or powdered sugar drizzled on the top.

    Notes

    You can use milk instead of water.
    Add nuts of your choice or chocolate chunks to batter instead of choco chips
    You can replace oil with melted butter.
    If you are baking in oven, it will take around 25-30 minutes with the same 180°C.
    You can also bake in the Kadai by placing plate in the bottom and bake in low flame.

    How to make whole wheat banana brownies with step by step pictures

      I usually make bread and muffins with ripe bananas and have not tried the brownies yet. I have a batch if bananas that are ripe and need to be used up. Going to make brownies this time.
