Ragi Banana chocolate Cake Recipe | Eggless Finger millet chocolate cake recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Ragi banana chocolate cake is one of healthy and nutritious cake made using ragi flour, banana and cocoa powder as main ingredients. I use my ripe bananas in baking without wasting them. Cocoa powder will help to hide the taste of ragi as well as bananas and kids will enjoy them. I baked in my mini loaf pan and it got vanished so soon. You can double or triple the recipe.

Ragi has lot of health benefits and rich in calcium which helps in strengthening of bones. It helps in weight loss as well as good for diabetes as it reduces sugar level. We can make variety of dishes using finger millet. Ragi porridge is one of the first solid foods introduced to babies. We make Ragi Kali or Ragi koozh. Ragi Dosa or Ragi chapati is one of the good option for breakfast or dinner. Ragi chocolate cake is good alternative to regular dishes we make with finger millet and perfect for kids snacks box. Sieving the flour is very important. Don't skip that step.

Baking time can vary depending on different types of oven. so always keep an eye after 30 minutes.

Skip walnuts or replace with any other nuts, choco chips or tutti frutti

Adjust the sugar according to the sweetness of the banana. I always taste the batter and add powdered sugar if required in the end.
