Besan Ribbon Pakoda | Ribbon Pakoda Recipe | Ola Pakoda Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Ribbon pakoda is crispy and crunchy snack made during Diwali. Perfect to munch with hot cup of Tea/Coffee. I have already shared a version of my mom’s Ribbon pakoda which involves soaking the rice and grinding. Today I am going to share the instant version of using readymade flours and there is no compromise in taste. It really over passed my expectations and best for busy people who don’t have time to soak and grind. My batch is over before Diwali and I am planning to prepare again tomorrow.
It will be different from store bought ribbon pakoda which will be less crunchier. It all depends on the proportions of flours we use. I have used besan flour, rice flour and fried gram flour. You can skip fried gram flour and use only besan and rice flour. Some people will use only besan flour too. Each variation will have different taste and texture. It took me just 40 minutes to make this yummy snack with kids disturbing in between. You can make it more quicker too. This Diwali I am going to share such easy and quick recipes only. Stay tuned for some more recipes. Now lets see how to make this besan ribbon pakoda.

Can add cumin/ ajwain to the dough.
You can skip fried gram flour but it will reduce the crunchiness.
Since kids will eat I added less red chilli powder. You can add up to 2 tsp too for more spiciness.
Dough should be neither too firm nor too sticky
To make fried gram flour, just powder it in mixer and sieve them and use it.
