Carrot Halwa Recipe | Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe | How to make Carrot Halwa recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Carrot Halwa is one of the popular Indian dessert made using grated carrot and milk. It is popularly known as Gajar Halwa or Gajar ka halwa in North India. It is simple and easy dessert which can be prepared even by beginners. I followed the traditional method of using milk and carrot for preparing carrot halwa. You can use condensed milk or khoya to make to more rich and cut short the cooking time.

Carrot Halwa with Ice cream is one the best combo and one should never miss it. You can serve carrot halwa hot or chill. It keeps well for 3-4 days in fridge. You can make this well ahead for any festivals or occasions. Grating carrot is the only tiring work. Otherwise you can prepare in under 30 minutes.
