Chickpeas Salad Recipe | Chana Salad | How to make simple chickpeas salad recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. It is simple salad made using boiled chickpeas, veggies and spices. This is one of my favorite salad and I always enjoy them with leftover chana. Add any fruits or veggies of your choice and marinate them with some Indian masala or Italian herbs.

It is one of the healthy and nutritious salad and best way to make kids eat chickpeas. You can add some cheese and serve it for kids. Chickpeas salad is simple salad made using boiled chickpeas, veggies and spices.

Ingredients

  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Onions 2 tbsp
  • Capsicum 2 tbsp
  • Cucumber 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves powder 1/2 tsp
  • Lime juice 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Take 1 cup of boiled chickpeas in a bowl
  2. Add the chopped onions, capsicum and cucumber to it
  3. Then add red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt.
  4. Finally add curry leaves lowdee, lime juice and coriander leaves
  5. Mix everything together.
  6. Chickpeas salad is ready

Notes

Add other veggies or fruits of your choice.

You can add some grated cheese and nuts for kids

Take 1 cup of boiled chickpeas in a bowl
