Chocolate Ganache Recipe | How to make Chocolate Ganache recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Ganache is the simplest frosting recipe which can be used for frosting, pouring or filling. It requires only two ingredients and very simple to make in home. We need chocolate and whipping cream to make ganache. Before getting my beater, I used to make only ganache to decorate my cakes. You can use them to make Choco Lava cake, truffles or as sauces for desserts. I like to drizzle some ganache over brownies or ice cream.
We can use chocolate and cream in different proportions depending on our requirement to use the ganache. Usually we can make in 1:1 ratio for pouring. Ganache will be more thicker when you increase the amount of chocolate. I used to make with chocolate in more proportion than cream to make it thick so we can use it for layering the cakes as well as pouring. Ganache gets thicker after cooling down. Whip the ganache and use it for piping.

Ingredients
- Chocolate 250 grams
- Heavy whipping cream 150 grams
Instructions
- Finely chop the chocolates and keep it ready
- Take whipping cream in microwave safe bowl
- Microwave for 40 seconds
- Add chopped chocolate to cream and allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes.
- Then mix with hand whisk till smooth and shiny
- Use chocolate ganache for pouring over thecake or drizzles or for decorating.
- Allow the Ganache to cool down before pouring over the cake.
