Kara Kozhukattai Recipe| Kara Pidi Kozhukattai Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Kara Kozhukattai is one of the traditional recipe for Ganesh Chaturthi. Traditionally they soak rice and then prepare kara kozhukattai. I am sharing instant one with readymade rice flour or idiyappam flour. It is quick and easy recipe.
My mom used to make sweet version of it with coconut and sugar with leftover flour after sieving the Idiyappam flour. This is savory version where we simply temper with spices and coconut. You can add onions for nice flavor. You can make this for breakfast or evening snacks for kids. Since we press and hold with hands it is called as pidi kozhukattai. Now lets see how to make this quick and easy recipe.
