Rava Coconut Burfi Recipe | Rava Burfi | Suji Coconut Burfi recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Rava coconut burfi is a delicious and simple sweet prepared with Rava, coconut, and sugar. One of the easy recipes to prepare for Diwali with commonly available ingredients in the pantry.
It is a perfect beginner-friendly recipe that gets ready in less than 30 minutes. It's been a long time and I am a little out of track in blogging due to hectic office work and a lot of personal commitments. I thought of posting many recipes for Diwali but starting with this simple and yummy burfi.

Rava Coconut Burfi Recipe | Rava Burfi | Suji Coconut Burfi
Ingredients
- Rava 1 cup
- Coconut 1 cup
- Sugar 1.5 cups
- Water 1 cup
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Cashews 1 tbsp finely chopped optional
- Almonds 1 tbsp finely chopped optional
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a Kadai
- Add Rava to it and roast it.
- Add coconut to it and roast till a nice aroma comes and it is completely roasted.
- Remove them to the plate.
- Grease plate or tray with ghee and keep it ready.
- Take sugar in the same Kadai.
- Add water to it.
- Allow it to boil. First the sugar melts.
- Then boil it nicely till it is sticky. if you take the syrup between your fingers it should be sticky.
- Add roasted Rava coconut mixture to it.
- Keep stirring continuously.
- Add cardamom powder to it.
- Then add ghee to it.
- Stir continuously till it comes together and leaves the side of the pan.
- Transfer to greased plate and level it.
- Sprinkle some chopped cashews and almonds on top of it.
- Slice the burfi while it is warm and serve.
- Delicious Rava coconut burfi is ready.
