Spinach Rice Recipe | Keerai Sadam Recipe | Kids lunch box recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Spinach Rice is healthy and easy lunch box recipe made with any variety of spinach. It is good to take spinach in any form regularly as it has lot of health benefits. I always make sure to include them one or twice a week. I usually make keerai poriyal, keerai kootu or add them in any type of snacks.

My daughter deeksha doesn't like most of the vegetables. So I always look for different ways to include them. Mostly I will puree them and add to chapati dough or use them in pulao, biryani or any type of rice. Spinach rice is one of her regular lunch box recipes and she now likes to eat it. It is very easy to prepare and then mix with cooked rice.

Spinach flavored rice is a great way to feed kids with the leafy greens. I never added tamarind to it thought. Next time I will try your version. Thank you for the kind words about me and the lovely introduction you gave about my blog.
