Butterscotch Ice Cream Recipe | Easy No Churn Butterscotch Ice Cream Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make creamy and crunchy butterscotch ice cream. It is one of the popular ice cream variety available in India. It is very simple and quick to make without using Ice cream maker. Next to chocolate my choice is butterscotch flavor for ice cream. I am in love with three ingredients ice cream as it is very simple to make and very versatile. We can make any flavor of ice cream using same base recipe.
I adapted the recipe from my Strawberry Ice Cream. Store bought ice cream will be yellow in color. I didn’t add any colors so it is pale white. Praline which is nuts coated with caramelized sugar is made from scratch. Addition of praline adds the crunchy and crispy bite to ice cream similar to store bought one. How to make Butterscotch Ice Cream with step by step pictures
Take chilled whipping cream in mixing bowl and add butterscotch essence to it
Start beating it slowly and then increase to medium speed
Beat it till soft peaks form
Add the condensed milk
Beat till condensed milk is combined with cream.
Finely add the powdered praline and mix
Fold it gently till everything is combined
Transfer to freezer safe container and freeze it for 8 hours or overnight.
Scoop and serve ice cream stopped with praline or plain
