I wanted to try these cookies in home and browsed through lot of recipes to find the ingredients. These cookies are made with custard powder, tutti frutti, nuts and flavored with cardamom, rose, pineapple or any essence. Custard powder adds the melt in mouth taste to cookies. Custard powder is nothing but corn flour with some flavoring usually vanilla. You will surely fell in love with these cookies when you taste them.

How to make tutti frutti cookies with step by step pictures
Mix wheat flour, custard powder, salt and cardamom powder in a bowl and keep it ready.
Add tutti frutti and nuts to flour and mix.
Take butter in a bowl
Add sugar to it and mix butter and sugar to form a creamy texture.
Add pista essence to it.
Then add the flour and nuts mix in batches
Mix everything together and it looks like crumbs.
Add few drops of milk to form a dough.
Divide the dough into two parts.
Shape the dough as rectangular log.
Cling wrap them and keep in fridge for 1 hour.
After one hour, take the firm dough and cut them as slices.
Place the cookies in baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven at 180°C and bake in the same temperature for 20-22 minutes till it is done
Serve the cookies with hot cup of Tea/Coffee
