Foxtail millet is rich in fibre, protien and low in fat. Method of preparation of millet sweet pongalĀ  is similar to normal ones. Color of the pongal depends on the type of jaggery you use. You can use the same proportion of moong dal and rice as you use in normal sweet pongal. Trust me you won’t find much difference in taste. Even my kids enjoyed it. Next time try this healthy and nutritious millet sweet pongal
